Filter Pleating Machines, Chosen by the Element You Make
Rotary pleaters for oil, fuel and heavy-duty air elements, knife pleaters for deep pleats and wide panels, mini-pleat lines for HEPA. Tell us the element and the media, and we name the model and send its data sheet and a running video.
-
Chosen by the Element, Not the Catalogue
Rotary or knife, standard or high speed, is decided by the element you make, the media you run and the pleat height it needs. We ask those three questions before we name a model.
-
Run-Tested Before It Ships
Every machine is assembled in our own workshop in Anping, Hebei, then debugged and run before it is packed. You receive a machine that has already pleated paper.

Send Us the Element and the Media You Run
Element type, media, pleat height range and the output you are aiming for are enough for us to name a model and send its data sheet.

The Element Decides Which Pleater You Need
Rotary pleaters score and fold the media continuously between sets of rollers. That suits spin-on oil, fuel and heavy-duty air elements, where pleat heights are moderate and output matters most. Knife pleaters fold the media with alternating upper and lower blades, which is what deep pleats, heavy media and wide panels need. HEPA glass fibre needs a mini-pleat or close-pleat line instead. Tell us the element and the media and we will name the machine, and tell you when the one you asked about is the wrong one.

Assembled in Our Own Workshop, Run Before It Is Packed
Every PLM machine is assembled in our own workshop in Anping, Hebei. Parts are measured before assembly, dimensions are checked during production, and every machine is debugged and run-tested before it ships. That is how more than 200 machine models have gone out to filter plants in over 90 countries since 1990. ISO 9001 certified, with CE certification on selected models: tell us your market and we will confirm it for the model you choose.

Installation Guidance, Training and Parts You Can Get Quickly
Every machine ships with installation guidance, an operation manual, a maintenance schedule and a spare parts list, and we keep parts in stock for immediate dispatch. Our technicians support installation and commissioning online, and training is available online or at our plant. When something stops the line, the 4-8-36 commitment applies: a response within 4 hours, a proposed solution within 8, the problem solved within 36.
Which Filter Are You Pleating
Pick the closest element. Each one has a different starting model.

Spin-on Oil & Fuel Filters
Rotary pleating with pre-heating. PLGT-600 for spin-on, PLGT-420 for eco elements.

Heavy-Duty Air Filters (HDAF)
Deep pleats that hold spacing. PLGT-600N and PLGT-1000N are built for HDAF.

Passenger Car Panel Air Filters
Pleating, then cutting to size. PLPG-350 is a full-auto line for square air filters.

Cabin Air Filters
Non-woven and composite media on knife pleaters, then cut and edge-bonded.

HEPA & Cleanroom Filters
Mini-pleat with hot-melt separators or close-pleat packs, e.g. PLHP-1300A.

Hydraulic & Industrial Elements
Glass fibre, wire mesh and non-woven on PLCZ knife pleaters, up to 3,000 mm.
From Your Element to a Machine Pleating on Your Floor
- 1
Tell us the element
Element type, media, pleat height range and target output. A photo or drawing of the element helps.

Four Common Starting Points
These are the models most plants start from for each job. Your media and output may point to a different one.
Talk to an engineer
“Tell us the element you make and the paper you run. We will name the machine that fits, and if a cheaper model will do the job, we will say so.”
What Filter Plants Ask Before Buying a Pleating Machine
Answered by the engineers who configure the machines.
Should I buy a rotary or a knife pleating machine?
It depends on the element. Rotary pleaters suit spin-on oil, fuel and heavy-duty air elements with moderate pleat heights and high output. Knife pleaters suit deep pleats, heavy media and wide panels, up to 200 mm pleat height on our PLCZ200 series. Send the element and the media and we will recommend one.
What do you need from me to quote?
The element type, the media (paper, synthetic, glass fibre or non-woven) and its width, the pleat height range, and your target output. A photo or drawing of the finished element helps us confirm the pleat profile.
Can the machine run cured paper, synthetic media or glass fibre?
Yes, with the right model. Rotary pleaters have pre-heating for resin-impregnated paper, knife pleaters handle non-woven, composites and wire mesh, and the HEPA lines are built for glass fibre and polypropylene.
How is installation handled?
Each machine is debugged and run-tested before it ships, and arrives with installation guidance, an operation manual and a maintenance schedule. Our technicians support installation and commissioning online, and training is available online or at our plant in Hebei.
What happens if the machine stops?
Our 4-8-36 commitment: we respond within 4 hours, send a proposed solution within 8 hours and aim to solve the problem within 36 hours. Spare parts are listed for every machine and kept in stock for immediate dispatch.
What is the price and lead time?
Both depend on the model and the configuration, so they are stated on the quotation. Send your element and output target and you will receive a written quote with price, configuration and lead time.
Are your machines CE certified?
PLM is ISO 9001 certified, and CE certification covers selected models. Tell us the country the machine is going to and we will confirm the certification for the specific model before you order.
Can you supply the rest of the line and the filter materials?
Yes. We build curing ovens, cutting, end cap, gluing and testing machines, and supply filter paper, media, adhesives and end caps from our own group, so a new pleater can come with the equipment and materials around it.
Send Us Your Element. We Will Name the Machine.
Element, media and pleat height are enough to start. You get the data sheet and a running video with the quote.
